About this product

Glazed Ceramic Dog Bowls

Ceramic solves the sliding problem with mass rather than grip: a properly weighted stoneware bowl simply does not move, which is why it is the default for big enthusiastic eaters and the reason people keep buying it despite the obvious drawback.

The glaze is a fired food-safe glaze over stoneware, and the decoration is fired in rather than printed on top, so it cannot wear off into food or fade through a dishwasher cycle. That firing step is also why the lead time is longer than steel, and we say which stage costs the days.

The honest part: ceramic chips, and it chips at the rim, usually from being knocked against a tap or another bowl. A chipped rim is a rough food-contact edge and should be retired rather than kept — we would rather tell you that up front than sell a bowl that becomes a problem quietly.

FAQ

Glazed Ceramic Dog Bowls: quick answers

What is the minimum order for ceramic bowls?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Is the glaze safe for food?
It is a food-safe fired glaze on stoneware, and the decoration goes on under the glaze rather than on top of it, so nothing sits between the food and a fired ceramic surface. Anything printed onto a finished bowl is a coating, and a coating on a feeding surface is not something we will supply.
What do I do when it chips?
Retire it. A chipped rim leaves a rough, porous edge exactly where a mouth goes, and no amount of washing fixes that. It is not a manufacturing failure — ceramic chips when it is knocked — but it is the point at which the bowl has finished its job.
